Amid the expanding wave of the crypto ban, McDonald’s China has launched its first Non-Fungible Token (NFT), “Big Mac Rubik’s Cube”, today. This launch has come in lieu of commemorating McDonald’s 31st anniversary in the Chinese mainland market. Furthermore, according to the burger franchise’s announcement, their NFT launch also marks the official opening of its new headquarters building on the west bank of Shanghai. Big Mac Cube is a 3D token, inspired by the infrastructure of the new headquarters building along with the brand spirit of Mcdonalds’, matching its red, orange, and yellow color theme. McDonald’s China noted that it will present 188 of its “Big Mac Cube” tokens to its employees, and consumers. “McDonald’s is a young and trendy brand that has always paid attention to fashion trends and cutting-edge technology.
